I can’t for the life of me understand why I crave some right now lol. The first few times I had them they were amazing and were perfect to cook with. Product had lots of customer complaints, tastes terrible, like hard rubber no matter how it's cooked, it gets hard too fast when it should be soft and edible to bite, and taste was not that much like chicken, wasn't on point, etc. I made chicken salad and broccoli,rice, chicken casserole with these Beyond meat chicken strips. Ready for the new improved version. It wasn’t awesome but now there’s nothing, sadly, so the sooner it comes back the better. Unfortunately, our Chicken Strips weren’t delivering the same plant-based meat experience as some of our more popular products, like the Beyond Burger and Beyond Sausage. We had much success cooking these soft and delicious though. As far as I’m aware, it’s the only gluten free chicken substitute that was on the market. I really gotta say I think I can turn almost all these mock meats into rainbows and unicorns however..the beyond chicken always came out crummy.. its lacking taste & texture badly. I stopped buying them cause Gardein and Morningstar's were better. Can't wait to see the new recipe.
